LANDMARKS


You slide into realms that have no beginning, and certainly no end. There are structures all around you...but nothing really fits. You are dazed and distant, you are close and stifled. You fix stares and movement of hands...or seem to, but they always have lives of their own, distractions of their own. You slide and scatter, you crash and weave through the many lives, through the many friendships. You sigh politely and shrug your narrow shoulders...is this a resurgence, or a chilled ocean-filled slab of moment on moment? Does it really matter? Probably not. An angel flies past you...there is a feint, a breeze past your ear. You are half the person you were, and double the person you wished to be. We are a series of accidents and blind intentions. We are scattered cards across countless highways of hopes and fears. We are everything and nothing, moment and non-moment, breath and vacuum, child and ash...
