A TRILLION TRILLION...

He struck the bone with his fist. Nothing. He struck again...a crack. He peered at his knuckles...blood, fresh and pulsing. He struck the bone for a third time. The bone cracked open and the universe spilled out. There was blood and darkness, there were stars and people. There were eyes, hands, and nothing.

He slapped his hand on the table. The universe jumped, sidled, vibrated. He slapped his hand again. The universe pulsed in orgasm, pulsed in and out of flux and comparison. He peered at his pale stunted hand silhouetted against the dark aged wood of the table. Small rivers of crimson ran down his hand, pooling in spots on the table. He slapped his hand a third time - the universe cracked, splintered, then froze for eternity. A trillion trillion splinters, a trillion trillion universes of possibility and wilderness, of thought and devastation, of sanctions and screams. These are the creations that are, these are the creations that were, these are the creations that will never be.
